Our job is to keep developing these experiences, organise them professionally and bring them together into a coherent whole. What began as an idea in 1999 has grown into Golf & Naturparks Schweiz. On this journey through time, we take you through more than 25 years: from the founding and the first tee shot to the expansion to 9 holes, Golf & Naturpark Luzern and our second park in Affoltern am Albis. A story of people, passion and a deep bond with nature.
The story of Rastenmoos begins when Claudia and Martin found Golf Rastenmoos GmbH. A vision becomes the first step towards a golf course of their own.
Buying into the Hasenmoos Güterstrassen-Genossenschaft, the local farm road cooperative, lays the foundation for the project. An important step to secure the land and access roads needed.
The groundbreaking marks the start of construction of the temporary 6-hole course with practice area and driving range. At last, plans become visible reality on the ground.
The driving range and golf school open their doors and play begins. The first golfers swing their clubs at Rastenmoos.
The 6-hole golf course (par 21) with practice area is officially opened. Rastenmoos is now a fully fledged place to play golf.
Just a few weeks after the opening, the first golf tournament takes place. Competitive spirit and community arrive at Rastenmoos.
Golf Rastenmoos GmbH is converted into Golf Rastenmoos AG. A step that gives the growing project a solid foundation.
The Neuenkirch municipal assembly approves the rezoning for a 9-hole course. The way is clear for a bigger golf experience.
With the building permit for 9 holes, par 32, the expansion begins, along with new clubhouse facilities including a pavilion and kitchen. Rastenmoos rises to new heights.
The 9-hole golf course is inaugurated with a festive opening tournament. The course takes on the shape that is still loved today.
Building an irrigation system for greens and tees secures the quality of the course. Even in dry summers, Rastenmoos stays in top shape.
A 1.1 km fresh water pipeline connects the course to the Neuenkirch water supply. An important step towards responsible irrigation.
Rebecca & Christian Bütschi take over the management. With fresh commitment, they lead Rastenmoos into the future.
With Fairplay-Golf Schweiz, we democratise golf and free it from elitism. Golf becomes what it should be: fair, open and accessible to everyone.
Golfplatz Rastenmoos becomes Golf & Naturpark Luzern. The new name says what has grown here over more than 25 years: a place where golf and nature belong together. 9 holes, Academy, Bistro and Shop, open to everyone.
One park becomes two: with the 9-hole Pitch & Putt in Affoltern am Albis, Golf & Naturpark Zürich opens, and together we become Golf & Naturparks Schweiz. Short holes, ideal for getting started and for your short game, near Zurich.

Vom Spatenstich zum Naturpark, unsere Geschichte.
Was 1999 mit einer Idee begann, ist heute der Golf & Naturpark Luzern. Auf dieser Zeitreise nehmen wir Dich mit durch über 25 Jahre Rastenmoos, von der Gründung über den ersten Abschlag bis zum Ausbau auf 9 Loch und der Entwicklung, die uns zu dem gemacht hat, was wir heute sind. Eine Geschichte von Menschen, Leidenschaft und der Verbundenheit mit diesem besonderen Stück Natur.
Mit der Gründung der Golf Rastenmoos GmbH durch Claudia und Martin beginnt die Geschichte des Rastenmoos. Aus einer Vision wird der erste Schritt zu einem eigenen Golfplatz.
Mit dem Einkauf in die Hasenmoos Güterstrassen-Genossenschaft wird die Basis für das Projekt gelegt. Ein wichtiger Schritt, um das nötige Land und die Wege zu sichern.
Der Spatenstich markiert den Baubeginn des provisorischen 6-Loch-Platzes mit Übungsanlage und Driving Range. Endlich wird aus Plänen sichtbare Realität auf dem Gelände.
Driving Range und Golfschule öffnen ihre Tore und läuten den Spielbetrieb ein. Die ersten Golferinnen und Golfer schwingen bei uns den Schläger.
Die 6-Loch-Golfanlage (Par 21) mit Übungsanlage wird feierlich eröffnet. Rastenmoos ist nun ein vollwertiger Ort zum Golfen.
Nur wenige Wochen nach der Eröffnung findet das erste Golfturnier statt. Der Wettkampfgeist und die Gemeinschaft ziehen in Rastenmoos ein.
Die Golf Rastenmoos GmbH wird in die Golf Rastenmoos AG umgewandelt. Ein Schritt, der dem wachsenden Projekt ein solides Fundament gibt.
Die Gemeindeversammlung Neuenkirch nimmt die Umzonung für einen 9-Loch-Platz an. Der Weg zum grösseren Golferlebnis ist frei.
Mit der Baubewilligung für 9 Loch, Par 32, startet der Ausbau, begleitet von neuer Clubhaus-Infrastruktur mit Pavillon und Küche. Rastenmoos wächst über sich hinaus.
Mit einem festlichen Eröffnungsturnier wird der 9-Loch-Golfplatz eingeweiht. Der Platz erhält seine bis heute geschätzte Gestalt.
Der Bau einer Bewässerungsanlage für Greens und Abschläge sichert die Qualität des Platzes. Auch in trockenen Sommern bleibt Rastenmoos in Bestform.
Eine 1,1 km lange Frischwasserleitung verbindet den Platz mit der Wasserversorgung Neuenkirch. Ein wichtiger Schritt für eine verantwortungsvolle Bewässerung.
Rebecca & Christian Bütschi übernehmen die Geschäftsführung. Mit frischem Engagement führen sie Rastenmoos in die Zukunft.
Mit Fairplay-Golf Schweiz demokratisieren wir den Golfsport und befreien ihn vom Elitären. Golf wird zu dem, was es sein sollte: fair, offen und für jeden zugänglich.
Aus der Golf Rastenmoos AG wird die Golf und Naturpark Luzern AG. Der neue Name bringt zum Ausdruck, was den Ort ausmacht: Golf und Natur im Einklang.
